Medical doctor provides assessment of injury regarding New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox

Troubling news has surfaced for the New York Rangers as a doctor provided a crucial update on Adam Fox's injury and a potential timeline of his return.
The New York Rangers have been hit with some devastating news as it both their top defenders have been sidelined with injuries during Tuesday night's game against the New York Islanders.
The New York Rangers faced off against the New York Islanders on Tuesday and were finally having themselves a great night as they've been dominating in all areas and pulled off a 5-1 victory.
Unfortunately the Rangers night took a very devastating turn as several defenseman started to get injured. It started with K'Andre Miller as he suffered a mysterious lower-body injury and was ruled out for the remainder of the night.
UPDATE: K'Andre Miller (lower body) will not return tonight.
Then things got worse as defenseman Adam Fox took a nasty tumble and landed on his shoulder resulting in him quickly leaving the ice hunched over in a lot of pain.

UPDATE: Adam Fox (upper body) will not return tonight.
However, the following day a doctor by the name of Dr. Harjas Grewal provided an updated on Fox along with provided a potential timeline for his returned depending on what type of injury he's suffered.
Here's what he said:
Just like Tanev, mechanism can cause a separated shoulder (time off depends on type, usually a 1-3 week window for NHLers) or broken collarbone (8-12+ weeks) for Fox
If true, this will be a very devastating loss for the New York Rangers as they are desperately trying to make a push for a playoff spot.
