Concerning news emerged regarding New York Rangers star forward Vincent Trocheck as he suffered an injury on his wrist/hand area during the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament with Team USA.

During Team USA's game against Team Sweden on Monday night, New York Rangers star forward Vincent Trocheck suffered an injury after a puck hit him in the hand/wrist area moments before Jesper Bratt scored Sweden's second goal.

Vincent Trocheck had the puck hit him in the hand seconds before Jesper Bratt's goal. He also went to the room early. Let's see if he comes back. Same with Brady Tkachuk.
Thankfully, Vincent Trocheck returned to the game but was seen nursing his hand, indicating that he might be dealing with something serious.

According to recent reports the truth behind Vincent Trocheck's injury was revealed as he apparently broke one of his fingers.
I have no reason to doubt @TheAthletic report that #NYR Vincent Trocheck suffered a broken finger at #4Nations , it was clear he was favoring his hand both in practice and during games.

But I'm told there's an expectation he'll play tomorrow in Buffalo. We shall see.

The good news is he isn't expected to miss anytime and should be joining the New York Rangers as they faceoff against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday at 5:30PM.
