NHL Insider Vince Mercogliano has released projected lineups for tonight against the Isles.
With Artemi Panarin out, the Rangers will have to account for that void in which Peter Laviolette has placed Brennan Othmann in Breadman's spot.
It seems unlikely that Othmann will make the opening night roster, even though it is his 6th preseason game tonight.
While the fourth line sees Adam Edstrom, taking Jimmy Vesey's spot while he's out on an undisclosed injury.
Matthew Robertson slots in next to Braden Schneider on the 3rd pair as well, though it doesn't assure him of a roster spot. He could still end up on waivers.
Victor Mancini and Connor Mackey look to be practicing as extras and could Mancini end up on the lineup?
He could find a slot in the lineup even though Robertson is getting time on Game 6 tonight, as Ryan Lindgren and Chad Ruhwedel will be out for some time.
This literally could be the opening night lineup, but nothing is certain for now.
