veteran forward Chris Kreider made his presence known with Team USA during his debut at the 4 Nations Face-Off debut.

The 33-year forward has been a healthy scratch for Team USA's first two games, a 6-1 victory over Finland and a 3-1 win over Team Canada.
But Chris Kreider finally made his debut for Team USA at the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament as Matthew Tkachuk was sidelined with an injury, and he quickly made his presence known as it only took him 35 seconds to get team USA the early lead.
Kreider got the start against Sweden and scored on a rebound off of Zachary Werenski's initial shot 35 seconds into the first period to give the United States an early 1-0 lead.

Unfortunately that was the only goal Team USA managed to get during their 2-1 loss against Team Sweden, however it doesn't mean anything to the team considering they already clinched their spot in the Championship game, which we be against Team Canada on Thursday.
It's unclear if Kreider will suit up for the final against Canada, as Tkachuk is expected to return from the lower-body injury, but during the game several players from Team USA suffered injuries, including Rangers Vincent Trocheck, so he could definitely be playing in the Championship game.
