New York Rangers veteran forward J.T. Miller takes issue with Canadian fans booing the US National Anthem during Team USA's first game of the 4 Nations Face-Off.
During Thursday nights battle between Team USA and Team Finland for the 4 Nations Face-Off, the Bell Centre in Montreal was filled with boos during the American National Anthem once again.
However, things got interesting as Canadian fans made their feelings known forwards the United States players, essentially making them feel like unwelcome guest in Canada.
Unfortunately this isn't the first time it has happened, as Canadian fans have been booing the US National Anthem due to ongoing «political issues».
The PA announcer asked everyone to respect the anthems.
It went quiet for a moment and some dude yelled "F**k that!" and the rink proceeded to boo the American anthem.

During the "Star Spangled Anthem", the boos grew louder throughout the building:
The response to the National Anthem could be considered disrespectful to the players.
Truly no class from the Canadian fans as they continue to be disrespectful to the American players, including the four New York Rangers who play on team USA, Adam Fox, Vincent Trocheck, J.T. Miller and Chris Kreider.

Following the game Rangers forward J.T. Miller issued a statement on the situation and revealed how he truly felt about Canadians disrespecting the anthem.

«I think we like it. Not politically, but just in the sense of we know where we're at, in Canada. I think that fires us up more than anything.»

Bit of a strange response, but he's definitely not wrong as Team USA was on fire and pulled over a massive 6-1 victory over Team Finland.
