The New York Rangers are celebrating a momentous occasion today, as it is defenseman Adam Fox's birthday! Today he helped Team USA beat Finland on his special day.

The New York Rangers are currently powered down, due to the fact that the Four Nations Face-Off tournament is ongoing.
Despite all of that, they never miss when it comes to key players and dates.
Today is Adam Fox's birthday, the defenseman who was born in Jericho, NY turned 27 years old today.
The defenseman will take on Sweden tonight in the last game before the Four Nations Face-Off championship.
Let's go back to what he has accomplished as a Ranger before he even turned 27.
At age 26, he's already won the Norris Trophy as the League's top defenseman (2020-21), been a First-Team All-Star twice (2020-21 and 2022-23) and a Second-Team All-Star once (2023-24). He's exceeded 70 points in each of the past three seasons, finished at least plus-18 in each of his five seasons in the League and set NHL career highs in goals in each of the past three seasons, including 17 in 2024-24.

Now, on the cusp of an international championship on the week of his birthday is something special for sure.
This season he's played 55 games for the Rangers, and has scored 44 points (4 G, 40 A), and has been a Ranger since 2019.
With hope, this Four Nations Face-Off will be the jolt Fox needs to kick his season into high gear once NHL play returns on February 22nd.
He's served on the bottom pair of a stacked Team USA defense that has shut down their opponents regularly, with his partner Noah Hanifin.
Can they shut down Sweden tonight?
Tune in at 8 PM!
Happy Birthday Adam!
