As the New York Rangers are currently on a break, many including Peter Laviolette have been watching and keeping up with the 4 Nations Face-Off.
The 4 Nations Face-Off has taken over the hockey world as all eyes are glued to this best-on-best tournament. Especially when Team USA dominated Team Canada in a 3-1 victory.

Head coach Peter Laviolette has reveled that he has been impressed with the competitive and physical play, but by no means is he surprised by it according to reports from Remy Mastey of The Hockey News
«It's like that all the time in those tournaments,» Laviolette said. «You get involved in the Olympics, you get involved in World Cups, it elevates when you play for your country. My recollection is it always gets up there. Certainly the skill, the physicality, it's on display.»
The New York Rangers have six players that played in the tournament and represented their respective nations, J.T. Miller, Adam Fox, Vincent Trocheck, and Chris Kreider playing with Team USA, Mika Zibanejad with Team Sweden and finally Urho Vaakanainen representing Team Finland.
