A Significant development has surfaced regarding an unexpected New York Rangers defenseman being named as a potential replacement for the upcoming Four-Nations Tournament following an unfortunate injury update.
Earlier on Thursday afternoon unfortunate injury reports have surfaced regarding Dallas Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen after taking a nasty hit to his knee from Mark Stone of the Vegas Golden Knights.

Which completely makes sense considering he has been a very solid defender for the New York Rangers since joining the team in a trade involving Jacob Trouba being sent to the Anaheim Ducks.
Since joining the Rangers, Vaakanainen has played in 20 games and has managed to tally five assists and no goals thus far, along with having a plus/minus rating of +2 while averaging just over 15 minutes of ice time.
