Corey Perry faces harsh criticism as behind the scenes footage goes viral
Veteran forward, Corey Perry has faced a lot of criticism after recent locker-room video from game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals has gone viral.
The 2024 Stanley Cup Finals were filled with emotions, especially after the Edmonton Oilers faced a brutal loss in game 7.
After the game the footage shows the Oilers locker room was dead silent as the team was in disbelief that they lost.
Many fans were quick to target Corey Perry, and started blaming him for the loss, as many think he has a 'Stanley Cup curse.' These fans might not be wrong as Corey has made the Finals 5 times, but only won once back in 2007.
No player deserves to be treated that way for a game that involves teamwork, however that hasn't stop some fans from being ruthless:
