Major turn of events: Milan Lucic on the verge of returning to the NHL
A unexpected development had just emerged involving the possibility of Milan Lucid returning to the NHL next year.
It was reported that the former Boston Bruins forward, Milan Lucic has been training this off-season as he's desperately looking for another NHL contract.
As NHL insider, Frank Seravalli was the first to report this many fans were shocked by the news considering Lucic hasn't played since he was arrested for a domestic incident back in November of 2023.
The chargers were eventually dropped as his wife decided not testify against him in court. But despite the turnout of the case the Boston Bruins stated he would remain on an indefinite leave of absence.
Even though Lucic was never suspended from the league, Seravalli made it clear that Gary Bettman would still need to clear hint to play since he entered the NHL/NHLPA Players Assistance Program.
If Gary Bettman clears Milan Lucic he will have the right to sign with any team, if they decide they want him.
Do you think there is still a chance Milan Lucic will return to the NHL?
