Earlier today on September 9th, the funeral sevrvice for Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau took place St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, in Media, PA.
The service was attended by many NHL players as Johnny Gaudreau was very well-known throughout the league and seems to be loved by many who had the chance to share the ice with him.
However, as Caulfield was making his way to the service one reporter was calling his name to try and get an interview. Such an inappropriate time and place to try and do this.
Johnny Gaudreau's had such a strong connection to many NHL players, as Caulfield pointed out how much of an influence Johnny was for NHL players of smaller stature and changed his number to #13 in honor of the fallen NHL winger recently.
Mourners were able to pay their final respects to Johnny and Matty before they were laid to rest.
