Players flee for their lives during hockey game after several shots were fired nearby
Field Hockey players in Philadelphia flee for their lives after several gun shots were fired nearby.
What looks like to be a women's field hockey game, was taking place in Philadelphia, when players and officials were seen running off the field after numerous shots were fired in the background.
La Salle, a school in Philadelphia were playing their home games at a different University this season, the Temple University. During which is when La Salle was facing Saint Louis in a field hockey game when shots started to go off.
In the video, you can see that players clearly realized something was wrong, before they all started running towards a near building, and someone shouting at the fans to get down.
An official also took an unfortunate fall after hitting one of the nets while trying to make a run for it.

Shots fired outside of the St. Louis vs. LaSalle field hockey game halts play
Ryan Morik of The New York Post, confirmed these were shots being fired, and later police also confirmed this. Still no victim has been found.
"The offender fled the scene prior to police arrival," and "no shooting victims were located. The scene was secured, no arrest at this time, and no weapon recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Central Detectives."
"The shots were fired in the vicinity of an off-campus fast-food restaurant on Broad Street."
Thankfully no fans, officials, or players were hurt according to the Temple News.
