Respected NHL agent reveals two new expansion teams will be added in the near future
A recent post from an NHL agent has surfaced, as he suggests there will be two new NHL expansion teams in the near future.
The National Hockey League has been drastically changing over the few years, compared to any other major league sports. With the recent expansion of the Vegas Golden Knights and Seattle Kraken.
NHL agent, Allan Walsh has revealed that he believes that there is another expansion on its way for the NHL.
The NHL is going to expand, said Walsh on his podcast. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when, two more teams. The NHL will go to 34 teams.
Not only is he convinced that the league will add another two teams but the value franchise will increase.
I'm telling you right now, you can write it down, in the next three years NHL franchise values will double, said Walsh.<.q>
Allan Walsh believes that not only will an expansion is underway but that its owners will also receive a major payload once the additions are made.
When it does those two expansion teams, I predict the franchise fee will be $1.5 billion, said Walsh. That's more than double what Seattle was.
However, only time will tell, when and where these expansions teams will happen, but definitely great to hear that the NHL will continue to expand over the years.
