Rangers top prospects heading to Frozen Four
It's been a great season for Rangers top prospects Gabe Perreault and Andrew Fortescue as they have worked through the season including injury and are now heading to the NCAA Frozen Four.
It was a thrilling game for Boston College as the team played against Quinnipiac as both clubs were tied at the end of each period.
With the game heading to overtime, many wondered if this storied season would come to a crashing halt for Boston College as we all know anything can happen overtime.
But it was BC who came out on top as Jack Malone scored the game winner with Rangers prospect Andrew Fortescue assisting on the game winner.
This will be the 26th Frozen Four and the first since 2016 for Boston College where Perreault had a great season.
He played 34 games commas scoring 18 goals for 39 assists for 57 points and had 29 patently minutes he was also a + 22.
As for Fortescue, the 18-year-old defenseman play 38 games, had four goals and forces for eight points and had 34 Penalty minutes was a + 14.
The Frozen Four will be played at the Xcel Energy centre in St. Paul MN where the semifinals will be held on April 11th game time will be 8:30 PM.
