Buffalo Sabres plagued with terrible injury news caused by the New York Rangers

The New York Rangers suffered the loss of Vinnie Trocheck after the game in Buffalo. The game has left both teams mired in injuries, as Josh Norris will be joining Trocheck on the injury list, as he endured a painful injury that has taken him out of the lineup, joining Zach Benson.
The Buffalo Sabres will be missing center Josh Norris tonight, as he'll be missing a significant amount of time due to an injury suffered on the team's home opener.
Which leaves the Sabres shorthanded against the Boston Bruins, and Marco Sturm on Saturday night.
According to head coach Lindy Ruff, he will be evaluated today, as he will remain unavailable for an undisclosed period of time.
Norris suffered the injury while taking a faceoff in the third period of the Sabres game against the New York Rangers. The team would lose 4-0, and would lose Norris as he experienced discomfort while leaving the ice, after gingerly returning to his feet.

Josh Norris: A Potential Superstar Forward for the Sabres?
The Sabres will be without Josh Norris, as they have to figure out a way to reshape the lineup while he remains out due to injury. It looks as if Jiri Kulich and Ryan McLeod will be the next men up in the lineup in his absence.
His injury history is extremely concerning, as he's only played 56 games in 2024-25, where he'd score 35 points (21-14).
The team will have to wait with baited breath as they anticipate his potential recovery and return to the lineup.
