The Hockey Fight Of The Year So Far!
AHL affiliates of the Calgary Flames and the Winnipeg Jets just opened their season against each other last night, and delivered a spectacular and epic looking fight.
The combatants, Alex Gallant, winger of the Calgary Wranglers, and Jeffrey Viel, winger of the Manitoba Moose, were the ones involved in this titanic battle. Check it out!
There was a moment in that fight when they managed to connect at each other's face at the same time, repeatedly.
Calgary was down 0-2 when this fight happened. Apparently it provided the spark they needed to come back and win the game, 4-2.
Thankfully the refs allowed this to play out. These two teams will duke it out again Sunday, October 15.
