Divisional Rival Goaltender Out Indefinitely
Major divisional rivals, the Carolina Hurricanes have just been dealt a devastating blow to their team.
The starting goaltender
Frederik Andersen, has been ruled out indefinitely due to a blood clotting issue.
Hurricanes general manager, Don Waddell released an update on the matter:
"During recent medical testing, it was discovered that Frederik Andersen had a blood clotting issue that needed to be addressed. There is currently no timetable for his return, but we are confident that Freddie will be able to make a full recovery."
Former Rangers goaltender Jaroslav Halak, joins the Carolina Hurricanes on free agent tryouts.
Despite the bitter rivalry between the two teams, we still wish him a speedy recovery and good health. Sending him our best wishes.
