He Becomes The Fastest Defenseman To Ever Do It!
Cale Makar, of the Colorado Avalanche, has achieved a great feat, becoming the fastest defenseman to accrue 250 points in the fewest NHL games at 241.
The previous record was held by Bobby Orr, who achieved this in 247 game.
Makar achieved this milestone with an assist in the second period of last night's 4-1 win over the Seattle Kraken.
It was the Avalanche's 14th straight road win, which ties the NHL record.
ESPN created a player ranking of the top-100, and voted Makar as the best defenseman, over the Rangers' Adam Fox.
With accomplishments like this, I can see why they think that. Congrats to Makar on this achievement!
