Capitals Top Prospect Will Not Face Rangers, Returns To College
Ace prospect of the Washington Capitals, Ryan Leonard plans to return for his sophomore year at Boston College.
This means the Rangers won't be seeing him in the first round.
President of hockey operations & general manager Brian MacLellan today issued the following statement regarding Leonard's decision to return to Boston College for his sophomore season.
Apparently, the Capitals would have wanted Leonard to join the team during their playoff run.
Leonard is a teammate of Rangers ace prospect, Gabe Perreault, both drafted in the 2023 NHL Draft.
