First look at the New York Rangers rookie camp
The New York Rangers rookie camp began today, and many players are looking to make an impact.
Brett Berard, Brennan Othmann, and Adam Edstrom were just some of the notable prospects there today.
But this was Othmann's fourth rookie camp, where he will want to make a lot of noise, enough to get him into the opening night lineup.
Othmann was there with 24 other prospects at camp this week.
You can see in this clip how hard Othmann is fighting for a future with the Rangers. In 67 games with the Rangers, he scored 49 points( 21 G, 28 A) in 2023-2024.
Other notable prospects there today included: Dylan Garand, and Brett Berard and you can see Berard is continuing to use his offensive weapons to his benefit, scoring on Garand.
If rookie camp is any indication, the New York Rangers should easily rival the new big bad bruins, as there are many players 6'2" and above at camp this year.
