New York Rangers confirm the worst as Filip Chytil will not return due to an unfortunate injury

During the second period of the New York Rangers game against the San Jose Sharks, K'Andrea Miller and Filip Chytil accidentally collided with each other, leaving Chytil slow to get up from the hit.

Without a doubt this has caused a major concern for fans and many alike, as Chytil has been injured countless times throughout his career and this season he has been extremely explosive for the New York Rangers, so this will be a huge loss if he injured.
However, reports came in from several sources saying that Filip Chytil went to the locker room during the second period by then he eventually returned to finish the second period.

Unfortunately it wasn't until the start of third period that the New York Rangers were hit with terrible news as many notice that Filip Chytil didn't make his way to the bench and has not returned for the start of third.

Filip Chytil did not come out for the third period. He returned in the second period after leaving the ice following a collision with K'Andre Miller, but now he's not on the bench, or the ice for that matter.
Following these reports from reporters who are on the sidelines of the game, the New York Rangers PR team just released that Chytil will not return tonight due to an upper-body injury.
UPDATE: Filip Chytil (upper body) will not return tonight.
Truly some devastating news for the Rangers. Let's just hope this is just for concussion protocol and he hasn't actually sustained a serious injury.
