The Philadelphia Flyers beat the Minnesota Wild, 6-2 last night to bounce back from two consecutive losses.
They are a point behind the Rangers' for the Metropolitan Division lead. This is a surprising result considering the Flyers weren't really considered as anyone's favorites to be a contender.
Granted the season is early, and they might owe their current success to former Rangers' head coach, John Tortorella.
Doesn't seem like everyone is a fan of Tortorella however. Near the end of the first period, you see a fan, holding a ventriloquist dummy, behind the coach, opening its mouth, pretending like it has something to say.
You see Tortorella smiling, but it's unknown if he knew of the dummy's existence or was smiling at something on the ice.
I don't know about you, but if you squint your eyes a bit, it looked like a Flyers fan without wearing one of their jersey's. Maybe they forgot it at home.
My personal favorite comment is this.
Tortorella has always been known to be a brash and outspoken person, both to the players and media alike.
He coached the Rangers' from 2008-2013, leading them to the playoffs four times, and the conference finals, once.
