The Montreal Canadiens AHL affiliate team, the Laval Rockets's hockey player Vincent Arseneau broke his fingers during an intense fight against Tampa Bay Lightning's affiliate the Syracuse Crunch.

Without a doubt hockey players are some of the toughest athletes throughout all sports, and that's stated continues to be proven during every hockey game, with game containing heavy hits, fights, and a variation of bloody scenes.

However, this recent incident is quite nasty, as it comes from the American Hockey League, the National Hockey League's affiliate league, where a gruesome scene emerged between the Montréal Canadiens affiliate team, the Laval Rockets, and the Tampa Bay Lightning's affiliate team, the Syracuse Crunch.

32-year old, Laval Rocket player Vincent Arseneau took part in a fight against a member of the Syracuse Crunch, and things took an unexpected turn when Arseneau broke his finger after punching his opponent on his helmet.

Vincent Arseneau popped his finger out of place in a fight and then popped it back into place on his way off the ice.

We just witnessed a monstrous fight between Vincent Arseneau and Kale Kessy in the middle of the ice. Arseneau broke a finger on his left hand from hitting his rival's helmet. Ouch!

Recent report from a Montreal Canadiens reporter, Anthony Marcotte:

Vincent Arseneau just broke his fingers in a fight, and snapped them back into place??

Arseneau is currently playing for his hometown teams, as he was born in Quebec City, Canada. Despite being boring in 1992, Arseneau is living out the dream of many players, and maybe one day he'll get the call up to the National Hockey League.
