Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid being accused of faking his injury.
Following the Oilers elimination during game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals to the Florida Panthers, McDavid revealed that he played entire playoffs with an abdominal injury and wasn't at 100%.
"McDavid has played through an abdominal injury that likely requires surgery."
Fans are starting to get suspicious of his injury after a video surfaced of McDavid wakeboarding with his fiancée Lauren Kyle.
McDavid was awarded the Conn Smythe trophy after tallying 42 points throughout the playoffs. It was only during the Oilers locker room clearout that his injury was revealed.
Apparently wakeboarding requires very strong abdominal strength, leaving many fans questioning if his injury was legit or not.

However, this is good news regardless of whether or not McDavid faked his injury or if the reports were true, but one thing is for certain Oilers fan are likely to see McDavid have another 100+ point season.
