Major hockey magazine under fire for disrespecting Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau
Major hockey magazine under fire for disrespecting Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau following their tragic death.
On September 9th, 2024 both Johnny and his littler brother Matthew Gaudreau were laid to rest in a funeral service. The service took place in St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, in Media, PA.
However, The Hockey News magazine, disrespected the Goudreau brother's as they gave them a headline for the newspaper.
The brothers should have been the front and center of the magazine, but they figured to keep the Gaudreau brothers off-center and beside a gambling site, Bet MGM.
Understandably papers have deadlines to meet, but for something of this significance and the circumstances this seems like a major oversight, for an NHL All-Star and his brother.
The Gaudreau brothers death have brought the hockey community together from all over the world, as we continue to grieve and mourn this tragedy, so to see a disheartened act like this is truly disgusting.
