As the hockey community continues to grieve over the loss of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, some disturbing details have emerged about Sean Higgins, the man who was arrested for hitting the brothers with his vehicle.
A recent report from Jeff Gould has surfaced on X, stating Sean Higgins ran a drug and alcohol treatment center in Pennsylvania.
Sean Higgins, who was reportedly drunk before getting behind the wheel of his vehicle, has been arrested by New Jersey state police on Thursday night and was charged with two counts of death by auto.
The following court records showed the following from the arrest of Sean Higgins on Thursday night:
- Operating under the influence of liquor or drugs
- Unsafe lane change
- Improper passing
- Open container alcohol or unseal cannabis in motor vehicle
- Consume alcohol beverage or cannabis item in motor vehicle
- Reckless driving
