New York Rangers: Joe Veleno's future has just been confirmed
Detroit Red Wings forward Joe Veleno has just secured a new contract deal.
Veleno was one of the 14 National Hockey Players to file for salary arbitration, before his schedule hearing.
However, he and the Detroit Red Wings have officially came to an agreement, and will return with them for the 2024-25 season.
NHL insider, Elliotte Friedman confirmed the news, stating Veleno signed a two year deal that carries an AAV of $2.275 million.
Last season the 24-year old forward, made 825k managed to tally a career high with 28 points, (12 goals, 16 assists).
