The hockey community mourns the tragic loss of 31-year old defensemen
The Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League has made a devastating announcement, as the Troy Wylie of the Deseronto Bulldogs Hockey Club has sadly passed away.
Troy Wylie who was 31-years old has sadly passed away on September 6th, 2024.
Wylie started playing Senior level hockey in 2023-2024, after playing with the Napanee Raiders as an alternate captain in 2014-2015.
Wylie only managed to play 10 games last season with the Deseronto Bulldogs Hockey Club, a league authorized by the Ontario Hockey Association and Hockey Canada

The Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League deeply mourns the loss of Troy Wylie, a defenseman for the Deseronto Bulldogs Hockey Club, who passed away this morning at the age of 31.
Colleagues and friends remember him as the epitome of a teammate and an exceptional individual.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Troy's family and friends as they navigate this challenging time.
The cause of Troy Wylie's death remains unconfirmed.
