The NHL pays tribute to Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau just before first preseason game
The National Hockey League and hockey community faced a tremendous tragedy this summer when Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew Gaudreau were killed by a drunk driver.
Such a terrible tragedy that will forever impact the lives of the Gaudreau family and their friends, and one that will forever be remembered by hockey fans around the word.
As the NHL preseason started tonight, the league showed a ton of class and how the hockey world can come together as they honoured the two late brothers with a one minute video tribute.
A short but very beautiful tribute from the league that means a lot to the Gaudreau brothers fans and family, but more than likely the first of many tributes we will see this season for the brothers.
Forever remembering the Gaudreau brothers.
