The Rangers Miss Out On Potential Option In Blockbuster Trade
Elias Lindholm has officially been traded to the Vancouver Canucks.
Andrei Kuzmenko is headed to the Calgary Flames as part of the return. The Canucks currently have $1.2 million cap space remaining in LTIR with 22 active players.
There's no extension in the works for Lindholm as part of this trade being worked on. He would be going as a rental at least at the outset.
The Rangers have been linked to Lindholm for a good chunk of the season. We can now put any hope of receiving him to bed.
We will update with more information as they become available.
