Junior Hockey Coach Collapses Behind the Bench in a Scary Moment.
In the Saint John Sea Dogs and the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles game last night, things took a turn for the worst when one of the Sea Dogs coaches collapsed.
The game was stopped immediately and medical personnel rushed onto the scene.
This is what we know.
At 19:06 of the third period, something happened behind the Saint John Sea Dogs bench. We don't know what happened or who it is.
The person has been taken off the bench on a stretcher.
The game has been called off with Cape Breton leading 6-0.
There has yet to be any additional details released regarding the incident but our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the situation.
