The players aren't the only one capable of making big time hits. Caroline Hurricane defenseman, Tony DeAngelo, got destroyed by the official in this one sequence when chasing after the puck during the second period of last night's game against the San Jose Sharks.

He actually got an unsportsmanlike penalty, and then continued to mouth off to the official, after the end of the period at which point he received a 10-minute misconduct as well.
Fortunately for him, the Hurricane managed to walk away with a win, 6-3, as they move to 3-1 for the season.
