Mike Babcock has been the most controversial coach in the NHL ever since he started.
Well, former Detroit Red Wings goalie, Jimmy Howard, told a shocking story about Babcock.
Jimmy went on the «Cam and Stick Podcast,» where he said Babcock straight up told Howard that he was going to vote for Tyler Myers over him for the Calder Cup Trophy. Mike was going to vote for another defenseman over his own goaltender.
Babcock recently got fired from the Columbus Blue Jackets after an incident. Mike asked players to show pictures of their families on their phones, but there was more that got brought up afterwards on the Spittin' Chiclets podcast, which led to an investigation and his firing.
Babcock is known to be a crazy coach, and will probably not get another seat in the NHL again.
