Sean Avery reveals controversial purchase he made with his first NHL paycheck

Former NHL enforcer Sean Avery, was asked an interesting question: what did you purchase with your first NHL paycheck?
Avery played 13 seasons in the NHL and was known as one of the league's great agitators. He had found his voice off the ice causing many to stop and watch his antics on the TV.
An Instagram account called "Hockeyforeverhq" reached out to Sean Avery and asked him what he bought with his first paycheck in the NHL, a question Hockeyforeverhq asks former and current NHLers.
He bought an ounce of mushrooms and not the portabello kind.
He bought an ounce of psychedelics, which is still considered a felony in the United States.
Players usually respond with a generic soundbite of a response, such as buying a car, or helping their parents out. But Avery's been a rebel his entire career, so this response shouldn't be out of the norm for him.
Avery played 580 games in the NHL scoring 247 points( 90 G, 157 A), 1533 PIMs playing 13 seasons spread across teams such as the Detroit Red Wings, Dallas Stars, Los Angeles Kings, and New York Rangers.
