Oilers Are Dominating With Their Power Play, Rivaling The Rangers

The best power play unit the NHL has ever seen belongs to the 1977-78 Edmonton Oilers. No team in the NHL has yet to beat their power play scores at 32.4 percent - way better than any other team in NHL history.
The Edmonton Oilers have some of the best players on their roster which makes it almost impossible not to score during a power play. The team works well together and that has helped them create what some would call a cheat code to scoring during a power play. They have created a fool proof plan that allows them to make goal after goal. The Edmonton Oilers also have the greatest number of goals to date in the NHL. It is no surprise that they have come as far as they have in the Stanley cup Playoffs.
With the Edmonton Oilers working so well together, the Los Angeles Kings do not stand a chance in the next game if they do get a power play. It is no secret that the Los Angeles Kings are in fact the power play liquidation team so far and have not had much luck scoring during any power plays compared to the Edmonton Oilers.
Do you think the Los Angles Kings can pull their weight next game and score a goal during a power play for the sake of advancing in the Stanley Cup playoffs or will they choke just like their track record shows? Do the Edmonton Oilers have what it takes to advance? I think Edmonton has what it takes to advance to round two. Which way will the pendulum swing for both teams? Only time will tell as Game 5 is upon us, may the odds be ever in the favor of the Edmonton Oilers.
