The Rangers lost 5-2 against the St. Louis Blues last night, marking their third straight loss.

Defensively the Rangers were off again, but the biggest turning point in the second period, was the ridiculous back-to-back-to-back penalties against them.

Allowing the Blues to chew any clock and forcing the penalty kill repeatedly out on the ice, all while missing several calls like a trip on Jimmy Vesey and a hook on Artemi Panarin.

Adam Fox was asked about the penalties in the second period last night:

"I don't know if we loved the calls. You're not going to put a game on the refs, obviously. They capitalized on them."

Dating back to the 2022-2023 season, including the win last night, the Blues move to 8-0-0 under the ref's Kyle Rehman and Trevor Hanson.

The Rangers are now 0-5-2, including a loss earlier this season and last night!

The Rangers have themselves to blame, start hot, but quickly concede two goals (both off the rush).

But pulling off a stunt like multiple consecutive penalties at once just kills any chance for a team to stay in the game.

Call the games fairly.
