Valiquette Predicted Correctly Of Spectacular Performance!
Everyone give Stephen Valiquette credit!
He called a shutout for
Igor Shesterkin in the first intermission of the game!
He ended up being right as the Rangers won 2-0 against the Calgary Flames to end their four game win streak while extending their win streak to five!
This was the 12th career shutout for Shesterkin, moves him past Andy Aitkenhead into sole possession of 11th all time in Rangers history!
It was his first shutout of the season as well!
His 30 saves, also moves his save percentage back above .900 to .902 percent and drops his goals allowed average from 2.86 to 2.77.
Not bad for a "back-up" goalie right?
