The 44-year old, Grant Potulny, joins the Rangers organization after spending the last seven seasons as the Head Coach Northern Michigan University.
Throughout Potulny's time with the Wildcats he managed a decent record with a 128 wins, 113 losses, and 17 ties.
However, Rangers President and general manager Chris Drury announced that the organization has just named Grant Potulny the new Head Coach of the Rangers AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack.
The Grand Forks, North Dakota native started his coaching career with the University of Minnesota as an assistant coach. Potulny then began his tenure with the Golden Gophers in 2010-11 and served in his role as Assistant Coach for eight seasons.
Potulny has also spent made four appearances as a member of Team USA's coaching staff in several international tournaments, where he served as an Assistant Coach for the United States at the IIHF World Junior Championship (2013, 2017, 2018, 2022).
Potulny even helped Team USA win a gold medal in the tournament in 2013 and 2017, as well as a bronze medal in 2018.
With such an amazing resume and experience, Potulny is without a doubt the right guy for the Hartford Wolf Pack.
