City Of New York And Rangers Fandom Lost A Fan Favorite Icon
The New York Rangers fan community is saddened by the loss of a fan favorite from one of the best sitcoms to take place in New York City, Matthew Perry, who passed away last night due to drowning.
He was 54 years old.
Matthew Perry is best remembered for his performance as Chandler Bing, in the hit series, Friends, where he was a main character throughout the entire run of the show.
The series other main character, Joey Tribbiani, played by Matt LeBlanc, would be seen frequently wearing a Rangers jersey in episodes.
Thankfully we have the show and the rest of his performances to look back to as we continue to mourn.
Rest in peace.
