Current Rangers Reflect On Legendary Goalie On And Off Ice
Rangers nation is proud to see one of our own, legendary goaltender, Henrik Lundqvist, take the final step and be enshrined in the Hall Of Fame forever.
A fantastic piece written by Sasha Kandrach, showcases some of Lundqvist's former teammates reflecting on their favorite memories on and off the ice with the legend.
Players like Ryan Lindgren, captain Jacob Trouba, Jimmy Vesey, and Mika Zibanejad, all telling some incredible moments.
I'll showcase one example on here. This comes from Lindgren, who was Lundqvist teammate from 2019-2020:
"My first game I got called up; it was at home against Carolina. Just getting the chance to play in front of him and play with him was really cool. It was nice knowing that he was back there. It was comforting as a d-man. He's obviously a legend. He's someone I watched growing up so playing with him was cool."
The rest you can read in the link above. It's a joy to read and delve in on how the King has inspired many of the players that make up our great team today.
