Cuylle Became The Youngest Player To Accomplish This Feat
It might have came after a disappointing night for the Rangers, but Will Cuylle became the youngest player in franchise history to score in the final second of regulation.
The goal came with 0.1 seconds left of regulation in the 4-3 loss to the Edmonton Oilers last night. It was his sixth of the season.
A bittersweet moment to a disappointing end. Cuylle is having an impact season, currently averaging 2.61 hits per game.
If he maintains this average over a full 82 game season, he'd reach 214 hits.
That would place him 14th all time among all NHL rookies, and 1st all time among Rangers rookies.
