First Goalie Off The Ice For Practice, Expected Starter Tonight
The Rangers will be facing off against Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers later tonight.
McDavid is considered by many to be the best player in the league. It's only fitting he gets to face one of the best goaltenders in the league in Jonathan Quick.
Quick was the first goalie off the ice for the Rangers during practice. Expect him to be in net tonight.
He has been spectacular to start the season, with a nearly unblemished record of 9-0-1 and a goal against average of 2.09 and a .929 save percentage. Add two shutouts to his incredible year as well.
Jonathan Quick is the 11th goaltender in NHL history and first since Laurent Brossoit (WPG - 2018-19) to begin his tenure with a franchise with at least a point in each of his first 10 starts in a single season.
Let's get the win tonight!
