Remy Mastey of the Hockey News has revealed what the likely opening roster of the Rangers will look like.

It's shown that a few changes will be on the horizon as Ryan Lindgren and Jimmy Vesey will miss the beginning of the season. This will allow players such as Jonny Brodzinski Sam Carrick and Matt Rempe To be in the lineup on opening night.
The first line will have a new look as Reilly Smith His place on the right side of Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad as head coach Peter Laviolette and his staff have high hopes that this line will gel and give the Rangers more depth in the top 6.
There will be several new faces on the defence core as Zach Jones and Victor Mancini should become fixtures to help defend the Rangers. The goaltending will remain the same as Igor Shesterkin and Jonathan Quick will man the net.
Two players that are noticeably missing in the projected lineup are Brennan Othmann and Adam Edstrom. Both players have shown they can and should make this line up, but it remains to be seen on how the final cuts will go just prior to the season beginning next week.
It's been a fascinating camp so far in the Rangers hope that they can build off what they accomplished last year as they feel they have unfinished business and hopes to make a trip to the Stanley Cup finals this year.
