More and more players are hitting the waiver wire as the National Hockey League's regular season quickly approaches.

The National Hockey League's preseason is definitely a rough time for many players as they work frantically on trying to make rosters that are pretty much already completed.
Despite the excitement that follows the NHL preseason, many players experience an unfortunate fate as their organizations pretty much tell them they're not ready for the big league yet and place them on waivers.
With the NHL regular season approaching very soon, many organizations are starting to really narrow down their training camp rosters, as today 12 players were placed on waivers, including New York Rangers forward Bo Groulx was one of the 12 players.
However, NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman has revealed the 12 players that were placed on waivers by their organizations, and will now have 24 hours to be claimed by any team who wishes to.
The list below is the names of players that were placed on the waiver wire today:
Today:
Martin (CAR)
Fix-Wolansky (CLB)
Ahcan, Phillips, Rosen (COL)
Groulx (NYR)
Petersen (PHI)
Huntington, Johnstone, Hollowell (PIT)

Definitely getting down to the final wire soon, and with that being said, the National Hockey League's regular season is just around the corner as organizations continue to finalize their final rosters for the 2024-25 season.
