A major development has surfaced regarding the New York Rangers trading veteran forward Reilly Smith, as the 33-year has been expected to be traded over the last few days.
The New York Rangers have recently made veteran forward Reilly Smith a healthy scratch for Sunday night's game and Monday night's game for «roster management», but several reports have confirmed it is related to trade reasonings.

It has been confirmed that Reilly Smith will be held out of the New York Rangers lineup once again as the Rangers are preparing to take on the Islanders. However at the moment still no trade has been made.
It's likely that Reilly Smith will be a healthy scratch for tonight's game as the New York Rangers will take on the Washington Capitals, as the veteran didn't even attend the Rangers morning practice.
