Flyers prospect calls out Rangers Matt Rempe during interview
During a recent episode of the four fly guys podcast, Flyers prospect Matteo Man called out Rangers Matt Rempe after suffering a major injury.
The injury occurred during the year when Rempe apparently hit Mann from behind which caused him to miss significant time with the Flyers. As the interview rolled on, Mann mentioned how he would like to meet Rempe again next year and pointed out that Rempe is trying to get fighting tips from George Larocque.
"Yeah, I only got to play a period last year because I got hurt. Rempe hit me from behind. I'd like to see him again in the future. F**k, you gotta get there first. No, no, he didn't [reach out and apologize for the injury]. Classic Rangers guy. I see he was in training with Georges Laraque this summer. I might have to hire someone down here."
Rempe took the NHL and the Rangers dressing room by storm after he was called up from the Hartford Wolf Pack. During his short time with the Rangers thus far, he has made an immediate impact as he took on many players in fights while scoring a few goals.
It remains to be seen on how his game will evolve next season as the entire NHL will now know who he is and whether adjustments will be made against him.
