Former New York Rangers legend's lengthy hockey career is officially coming to end as he's set to sell off a majority stake in his team ahead of his retirement.

After being drafted well over 30 years ago into the National Hockey League Jaromir Jagr's iconic hockey career is officially coming to an end this year, as he confirmed that this will be his final year of his career with the Kladno Knights.
In 29 games this season, Jagr has managed to tally 4 goals and 12 points for the team, a team that he owns a 100% stake in. However many have been worried about the future of the team's viability without him on the ice to drive interest.
But now, according to recent reports, Jagr had confirmed that he is selling an 80% stake in the Knights to Tomas Drastil, a legend amongst the Czech hockey community. While Jagr still maintains a minority stake this will the organization some financial stability after his retirement.
"Something is coming to an end. But a new era, and I hope a more successful one, is about to start."

Along with that, there has been news that Fenway Sports Grouo is looking to sell a minority stake in the Pittsburgh Penguins, the team that originally drafted Jagr back in 1990, leaving fans questioning if there is any connection between the two situations.
Ultimately, if this is Jagr's last season on the ice, he will finish an incredible career where he began with Kladno and now finishes it with the same organization in 2025.
During Jagr's time with the New York Rangers he managed to tally a total of 124 goals, 195 assists for a total of 319 points in 277 games played with the organization. Just a small illustration of his remarkable career in the NHL.
