He Stepped Up And Answered The Call!
The Rangers have extended their point streak now to nine straight games, and they did it undermanned last night in their 4-1 revenge win over the Minnesota Wild, without their two main goaltenders in Igor Shesterkin and Jonathan Quick, ace defenseman Adam Fox, and second center Filip Chytil
The Rangers won in a big way and a big reason is because this guy, goaltender
Louis Domingue, gave a rather inspiring performance.
His first win as a New York Ranger, and his first win since January 15th, 2022.
Domingue started shaky at first, seemed to try to find his footing midway in the first, but he looked more poised with each passing minute, and became sharper period after period.
He ended the night stopping 25 of 26 shots, for a save percentage of .962 and allowed only one goal!
Here was Domingue after the game, on how he felt to have the home crowd being his side:
"It's nice to be on their side, for once."
It was nice to have you on our side as well! The chant of Lou must have also been an exciting moment. He deserved being one of the three stars of the game.
