Igor Shesterkin goes into detail about what his son pointed at in viral video
The 2023-2024 NHL season had many memorable moments, including one with Igor Shesterkin and his son Timofey. Timofey would stand behind the glass, and look on as dad, Shesty hit the ice.
Timofey wouldn't waste time, as Shesty went to say hi and visit his wife and son, and point back to the net, telling him to get to work!
The video seemed hilarious as of course, Timofey was bossing his dad back into the net. But the truth would be revealed in a Russian language interview, where Timofey wanted to see his dad, in the tunnel where he could access him.
"That was a fun video but he wasn't actually showing me to the net," revealed Shesterkin. "That was more of a joke and actually he just know that there's a hallway that we go through to the locker room and he's show me 'Go to that hallway' so he can high-five me."
Below you can hear Shesterkin go into detail about the interaction with his wife and son:
