New York Rangers forward emerges as another trade option for central division team.

Chicago Blackhawks General Manager, Kyle Davidson is currently working to improve the Blackhawks roster, and New York Rangers forward Kappo Kakko may have just landed in his radar.

It has been confirmed numerous times that the New York Rangers General Manager Chris Drury has been attempting to trade Kakko as he hasn't quite reached his full potential with the Rangers.

Many believe that a change of scenery would be in the best interest of the former 2019 second overall pick, but however, Kaapo Kakko just signed a one year extension with the Rangers worth $2.4 million, which was his qualifying offer.

Kakko could definitely be a good fit for the Blackhawks, If he was paired beside players like Connor Bedard, Teuvo Teravainen. Hoping that playing alongside players like would give him the boost to reach his full potential.

Kaapo Kakko seemed to struggle this past season has his point production dropped by 50%, and he only tallied 19 points in 61 games.

With that being said only time will tell if a trade will materialize or not, as the Blackhawks have plenty of draft capital along with players who could be offered to the Rangers in order to create this transaction.
